Family Services of Westchester is fully committed to establishing and maintaining a workplace that assures equal opportunity and equal consideration to all employees and applicants. We provide equal employment opportunities to all people without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, disability, veteran’s status or any other characteristic protected by law.
One of the largest multi-service family agencies in Westchester, FSW is staffed by credentialed professionals and qualified support staff at our seven Family Centers and an extensive list of program sites throughout the county. Both professional and para-professional staff bring to FSW a wide range of practical experience and educational training that spans all disciplines. We offer many opportunities for social workers, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, child care workers, nurses, certified home health aides and management and administrative professionals. FSW believes in supporting staff with ongoing training and mentoring opportunities, often in partnership with local university curricula and specialized training institutions.
FSW is an environment that fosters diversity and encompasses a level of tolerance and respect, without judgement , for a multiplicity of traditions and cultures, which include not only race and gender, but age citizenship, class, economic status, ethnicity, gender identity, mental ability, military status, physical appearance, physical ability, political affiliations, or beliefs, sex identity, sexual orientation, social status, spiritual practices and other ideologies/identifications. It is essential that our agency is a haven for all to express their true identity and not be subjected to any prejudices by anyone in FSW’s community.
All with related practical experience and/or educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
