Family Services

Family is at the core of who we are: Growing up in a healthy family provides a sense of security, and the knowledge that we can overcome the challenges we face in daily life. When those challenges become too hard to handle – when personal problems overwhelm the ability to cope – Family Services of Westchester is there, providing counseling and support.

With the complexities of today’s world, every family can use some kind of support. Some needs are very specific and easy to identify while others are more complex. Whether you are rebuilding life after a divorce or raising your grandchildren without the help of their parents, Family Services of Westchester can assist you in making life more manageable.

Through a variety of services, your family can benefit from FSW’s knowledge, experience and accessibility. Located in communities throughout Westchester County, FSW can support your family in the adoption process, whether you are a pregnant mother or someone who would like to adopt. We can offer respite and rejuvenation at a one-week sleep away camp for the entire family if just one family member is infected with HIV/AIDS. In addition, Family Services of Westchester operates five Head Start and Early Head Start facilities in White Plains to aid low-income families with babies and pre-schoolers as they learn about healthy beginnings and prepare for elementary school.
