FSW is an Employee Assistance Program designed to help you be more successful at work and at home. Through your employer, FSW provides you with a toolkit of resources, information and support right here in your community. FSW is confidential and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no cost to you. Whether it’s dealing with stress on the job or a problem at home, FSW can help find a solution that works for you. In addition to private, one-on-one counseling and referral, FSW can also conduct workshops and seminars on topics including, but not limited to:

• Balancing work and family demands: caught in the middle
• Improving your relationships
• Living with divorce and remarriage
• Building your child’s self-esteem
• Surviving your child’s adolescence
• Considering adoption
• Raising adopted children
• Alcohol and drugs: Effects and issues
• Coping with change
• Depression: What exactly is it?
• Stress management
• Time management: Structuring your priorities
• Coping with grief and loss
• Options in caring for older relatives
• Conflict resolution
• Turning it around: Managing negativity in the workplace
• Working in a diverse workplace
• Choosing quality child care
• Sexual harassment
• Dealing with crisis and stressful situations
• Dealing with difficult people
• Nutrition, stress and putting it together

• appointments within 48 hours
• referrals to resources in your community
• 24-hour service, every day
• access to online articles, newsletters
• a supervised staff of licensed, professional social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists
• six locations around the county
• linkage to other Family services of Westchester programs including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Home Health Care, Adoption
• crisis intervention/post crisis follow-up
