Assistant Pre-School/Head Start Teacher

This is a wonderful opportunity to share your time, talents and love of learning with youngsters, ages 3 to 5. Head Start is a federally-funded program for children from low-income families. The early childhood program seeks to build fundamentals for learning that prepare children for elementary school. Knowing colors, shapes, letters, numbers and constructive ways to socialize makes little students ready to engage in their education. Assistant teachers work under the guidance of certified teachers, creating a stimulating and supportive environment, encouraging students to have new experiences and participate in the classroom.
