FSW’s Head Start/Early Head Start is a federal government program that was created in 1965 to give preschool children from low-income families a “head start” on their readiness for elementary school.
The purpose of this position is to assist with implementing curriculum and activities that support development in all domains.
JOB SUMMARY:
Family Services of Westchester is looking for full-time Floater for our Head Start Program.
POSITION TITLE: Floater
STATUS: Permanent/Full-time (44 Weeks Per Year)
SALARY: $16.00/hour
SUPERVISED BY: Vice President of Curriculum Development and Head Start
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To implement Curriculum and activities that support development in all domains.
- Attend Professional Development training.
- Implement Assessment and Lesson Plans in accordance with New York State learning standards.
- Provide recordkeeping and on-going monitoring.
