Meet an example of the FSW families who are waiting to adopt.
Annie and Neel
Hello and thanks so much for considering us. We are Annie and Neel. We have been together for 10 years and married for 4 years. After a few years of unsuccessful fertility treatments, we know that adoption is our path to grow our family. We share a strong love for our close-knit families and supportive friends. And now, we are excited and ready to extend that same love and joy to our child.
Neel and I are both the younger of our twin siblings. Nice coincidence! Neel works as a broker for semiconductors, and I, Annie, manage and market to clients for a professional training services company. We live in Brooklyn, NY, and absolutely love the area! It’s a great mix of cultures and diversity, ranging from young professionals, new families to long-time New Yorkers. With an abundance of parks, playgrounds and art institutions, we think it’s an ideal community to raise our child.
Neel and I come from close-knit families who cannot wait to meet our new child. Annie’s parents live in Maryland, and her four sisters live in Maryland, New York and Connecticut. Neel’s parents live in Minneapolis close to his twin brother, who has a family of four young kids. His sister is close by in Queens. Family is truly important to us, and we make time for get-togethers and constant communication with one another.
Our interests include traveling, hiking, playing tennis, watching indie flicks, visiting museums, being gym rats and spending time with family and friends. Neel is excited to share his other interests such as music, film, golf and soccer with our child. Annie is looking forward to teaching our child to cook, appreciate art, get captivated by theater shows and to simply have fun.
Our hope for our child is to provide happiness, love, joy, stability, security and a sense of fun into his or her life. We believe in maintaining relationships that are important for our child to understand his or her background. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.
