JOB SUMMARY:
FSW is looking for a Peer Advocate for our Port Chester and White Plains Locations.
POSITION TITLE: Peer Advocate, Family Mental Health Program
STATUS: Part-time/20 hours per week
SALARY: $18.00-$20.00/hour
SUPERVISED BY: Clinic Director, Family Mental Health
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage and empower clients in the counseling process.
- Provide support before and during a crisis.
- Model and teach coping skills.
- Link to services and make community connections.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma, Certified Peer Advocate
SKILLS
EXPERIENCE
- Share lived experiences in order to build relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
- COVID-19 VACCINATION IS REQUIRED.
