Youth Action Training November 14-16, 2014

Applications are available for Westchester County youth interested in participating in FSW’s Youth Action Training, a three-day youth led educational conference where teens can deepen knowledge about important issues, build leadership skills, and connect with other young change-makers!  The 2014 training will take place at the White Plains Public Library on November 14th from 10:30am-4:30pm, November 15th from 10:30am-3:30pm, and November 16th from 1-4pm. This training is free and meals will be provided for all three days. The training will include team-building activities, games and interactive youth-led workshops.  Some of the issues we will explore in this training include:  Advocacy Skills, Diversity, LGBTQ Issues, Media, Literacy and Bullying.  If you or someone you know would like to participate, click on the application below.
