Mobile Crisis Response Team

The MCRT responds to emergency 911 calls in partnership with law enforcement to help stabilize individuals experiencing a mental health crisis to reduce unnecessary arrests and ER visits. The team responds, builds rapport with the individual in crisis, provides on-the-spot counseling and de-escalation, or, if needed, takes steps to have the individual transported to the ER or an appropriate psychiatric facility.  Peers and clinicians work together in assisting individuals with their mental health crisis with the goal of stabilizing crisis situations.
