A Message from FSW’s Board Chair

Family Services of Westchester has a rich history of providing a broad range of mental health and social services that strengthen and support community members. We provide many innovative programs ranging from early childhood education and youth development to veterans’ support and restorative justice.

Our new Mobile Crisis Response Teams help police effectively de-escalate situations involving people with behavioral health challenges.  Our teams in Port Chester and Ossining provide coverage 24/7 to help ensure that a mental health crisis receives a mental health response.

We are also excited about a major expansion of our Head Start program, which offers high-quality, no-cost education to preschoolers throughout Westchester County.  This investment in youth will yield life-long benefits to our entire community.

As we look to the future, we value our collaborative partnership with Open Door Family Medical Center to provide the community with wrap-around mental health and medical care.   Our combined network will be unstoppable — working together, we can accomplish our shared commitment to reducing health disparities in our communities through a well-coordinated continuum of care.

I am so appreciative of FSW’s dedicated staff, who engage in continuous training and development to offer our community top-quality treatment and care.  Together we are able to truly make a difference.
