Prime Time Therapeutic Preschool for Special Education

FSW’s Prime Time Therapeutic Preschool is a special education program for preschoolers in Westchester and Putnam Counties that offers a comprehensive range of individualized educational programming and therapeutic services.

Prime Time provides preschoolers aged 2.8 to 5 with a nurturing, supportive, language-enriched classroom experience. School is full-day on Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Prime Time is New York State Department of Education-approved to offer speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychological and physical evaluations and therapies for children with developmental and/or learning disabilities. We are a QUALITYstarsNY rated program using evidence-based practices to ensure that students have access to excellence, and parents can trust the level of quality provided.

COVID Update

Prime Time Therapeutic Preschool follows all applicable current and future regulatory requirements to the greatest extent possible in order to mitigate the spread of COVID‐19. We regard all local, state and federal municipality guidance to ensure that proper protocols are followed throughout our facilities.  Highlights include: onsite COVID‐19 Safety Coordinator at each facility, remote options as needed utilizing Zoom and Seesaw (tablets available), self contained cohorts of 8 and 12, onsite health screenings and PPE provided (optional for children).

Prime Time recognizes that early intervention is key to addressing and mitigating children’s developmental delays. The Prime Time program provides a developmentally appropriate environment that gives each child the individual supports he or she needs to play, learn, grow and thrive.

Eligibility

To visit our school or learn more, we request that you first confirm your child’s eligibility through your local Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). CPSE will verify that your child is eligible for one of the following: (1) Initial placement in a center-based program (2) Transition from early intervention or (3) Seeking a transfer from another special education preschool program.
