June 18, 2021 – Family Services of Westchester (FSW)’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs in White Plains are now accepting applicants for enrollment in the 2021-2022 school year. The program is free for income eligible families living in the White Plains School District, serving children from birth to 5 years old.
Pregnant women and infants receive in-home care. Children from 1-5 years old may attend one of FSW’s five Head Start locations in White Plains, NY. Children in the programs are eligible to receive an enriching educational curriculum, nutritious meals and snacks, vision and hearing screenings, mental health services, parent meetings and workshops, family service support, and home visits. Multicultural and bilingual services are provided, including support and advocacy to non-English speaking parents.
